CoCBT Amphibian M3 Co-operative ComputerBased Training The operation of the M3 amphibian requires the co-operation of several crews, for example when coupling amphibians to build a ferry. The previously available training tools, that is the CBT program and digital teaching aid, were primarily designed for single-place training. However, a comprehensive amphibian training requires a team oriented approach. The CoCBT Amphibian M3 training program fulfils these requirements. In a virtual reality world, which is implemented in a PC network, it is possible to train a team in the operation of the amphibious vehicle M3. Therefore CoCBT covers the complete spectrum of the amphibious training. The crew will be able to exercise the whole year round, under freely selected conditions, and irrespective of the otherwise mandatory availability of staff and equipment.
